Foreign Workers Insurance
Foreign Workers Insurance Guarantee (FWIG)
The Foreign Workers Insurance Guarantee (FWIG) is a security deposit mandated by the Malaysian Immigration Department. Employers must provide this guarantee when hiring foreign workers in Malaysia.
The FWIG ensures that repatriation expenses are covered if a foreign worker needs to be sent back to their home country during their stay in Malaysia.
